We found Luke to be stimulating and are now ready to tackle Job. Charles B. Prewitt, D. Min.
Hello, I have been a Roman Catholic since birth, but not until my mid-40s have I come to understand the Bible as well as when I took a Kerygma course in the late 1980s. Your thematic approach has made "difficult" reading make sense and easier to understand and follow. However, that was over 15 years ago. Can you recommend what I could study now? Thank you for your time and consideration. Dan Zingone
have just finished a course on The Bible in Depth. I would like to work more with it as, after a two year period of study, I feel like we just scratched the surface. I feel it is a really great program but there is still so much I do not know. How could I put into a few short pages just what is the Bible?
Our class just finished "Bible In Depth" It was very challenging but at the same time I never felt intimidated by the study. The group as a whole became very close as this year was extremely challenging for all of us on a personal and spiritual level. Kerygma's course design allowed us to combine the study of the Bible with our own inter-personal relationships. We became a very close, dedicated group. Thank you Kerygma. Thanks be to God.
I haven't taken any of your courses, but the "Hallelujah...The Bible and Handel's Messiah" was just recommended to me. I see also that there is another musically-inspired study, "Sowing Tears, Reaping Joy ... The Bible and Brahms's Requiem." I am delighted that such studies exist. I hope to use them at my church! Keep up the great work! Craig Collins, Director of Music Ministry, Mt. Zion United Methodist Church
Kerygma gives light to the hungry soul like me. Keep it up. God Bless.
I went to a training at our Episcopal Diocese Resource Center and was so impressed that I am putting a schedule together to start my first class in the late fall. Cindy Grenier - Christian Education Director St. John's Episcopal Church Cumberland, RI
I m a member of Kerygma this year and I am already having fun at the Kerygma gatherings Rachel
I have been teaching Kerygma Bible courses here at St. John's Episcopal Church in Carlisle, PA for over 8 years. It has been a very well received program and enriched our spiritual lives. thank you! The Rev Ann Whitesel
They were excellent studies and enjoyed the challenge.
I have just started, with THE TEN COMMANDMENTS FOR A BLESSED LIFE. At my church, for Lenten Bible Study and the book seems great, so far and I'm sure it will be. I cannot comment a lot ,as I have not yet read through it all. I do want to Thank You, for all the information you can bless every one with. I have taken the 32 week course, Discovering the Bible and found it to be extremely well presented. This was 2 years ago. Last summer I facilitated the course on the Parables as a part of the Daughter's of the King ministry. This summer we will be studying the Psalms.

I have taught at least 3 courses before I retired as a pastor in '94. I plan to teach Interpretation again if the price of the student book isn't too high for my students. I was in my last church for 21 years. I taught the basic Kerygma Bible Program twice. The first time I had 46 students and the class lasted a year and a half.
I am currently in a Kerygma class. After completing just the Old Testament, I have an entirely new relationship with God. I can't wait for the New Testament, which starts next week.
I have been using Kerygma material for approximately 10 years. I have enjoyed every course I have taught because the material is very good, easy to work with and stimulating. I am appreciative of the new courses that continue to be available. I know that I have learned from each of the courses as I have prepared the lessons, and then participated with the students in the material. I highly recommend the Kerygma Program and its various courses. Feel free to contact me a c1umcjt@netsync.net with questions or
At Abington Presbyterian Church in Abington, PA, we have been using the Kerygma series for 5 years or so now, and have been very pleased with the 7 books we have done thus far. We did try another series at one point, but found it to be too superficial for our Bible study class. We have also developed a few lessons of our own, when the class wanted to explore a direction for which we could not find a specific curriculum (eg. This past winter we explored part of the Apocrypha, the books of 1st & 2nd Maccabees, which, lacking the guided curriculum Kerygma provides, required a tremendous effort on the parts of 2 of our leaders). We are looking forward to our next Kerygma course, and are now trying to decide our course for the Fall. Keep up the great work!
Our three groups with 92 people, have finished Kerygma The Bible in Depth. Many are saying that it is the best thing that has been done in our church in decades. As the leader, I found the lessons clear, and the Leader's Guide most helpful in preparing interesting lessons."
"Interpretation is a must. It's the best material I've ever used."
I taught Kerygma: the Bible in Depth a couple of times, a few years ago. I am going to teach it again this fall and I'm really excited about it! It's a great course. I love your website! Especially the music! Sue Roe All Saints' Episcopal Church Long Beach, CA
Kerygma has been the best thing that I have done for myself in a very long time. I have been both a student and a leader and found both to be so rewarding. To pick my favorite would be unfair because all have been meaningful and just what I needed at that particular time in my life. I look forward to new studies!
God bless, Susan Prosser, First Presbyterian Church of Jonesboro (Georgia)
I have limited acquaintance with the Kerygma programs but would like to hear from others as to their experiences with the various programs. Also, I would like to know about the possibility of holding a workshop in San Diego.
Thank you. God bless.

"This is excellent curriculum! The lesson plans are well organized and easy to use The options offered have been good and work well. Many thanks for producing a curriculum with sound theology, competent Biblical scholarship, and excellent educational theory and practice."
Shalom was a deep and enriching experience for our people. Keep up the good work."

I attend a Full Gospel Church, but I've been an Adult Bible Study that uses Kerygma at an Episcopal Church. I really enjoy the course, because it gets me thinking more then I normally would when I study my Bible. Thanks for creating such an in depth Bible study tool .
I am so glad to find a Bible based program on the net...I am out here on the West Coast.Victoria b.c.
I hope that I can get onto the courses. I am retired, and loving it...In HIM...... abitterman@home.com
Today is April 12, 2002. I found your site via my Yahoo entry, "Online Bible courses". Imagine my surprise to find you are having a course in Savannah, Georgia in 10 days! A native Savannahian, I work in Savannah but now live in nearby Rincon.
What do you have for senior adults in the over seventy year old range that could be on a weeky study basis for a non-denominational evangelical study group that would also be in large print and/or audio tape? I lead a group of about eight seniors in a semi-independent home who come from a wide variety of denominations.
