Dr. Carol J. Miller is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. The recipient of several academic honors, she earned the B.A. degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and M.Th. and D.Min. degrees from Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University. Since 1971 she has been in pastoral ministry, serving churches in Arkansas, Texas, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. She has retired from the pastorate and now lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
During the last several years, Dr. Miller has written numerous articles and curriculum materials for the United Methodist Publishing House. Her specialty is adult education, but she has authored publications for all age groups from elementary students to senior high school youth.
Dr. Miller and her husband have two grown daughters, Heather and Mary, and two grandchildren, Acacia and Evan.
