Isaiah 33:18,19 "Your mind will muse on the terror:
'Where is the one who counted? Where is the one who weighed the tribute? Where is the one who counted the towers?' No longer will you see the insolent people, the people of an obscure speech that you cannot comprehend . . . ." The prophet has a vision of a time when Godıs people will live in peace, safe from terrors he vividly describes. That final security is only in the Lord, "our salvation in time of trouble" (vs 2). Remembrance of past terrors should evoke the declaration, "in God we trust." The ends of history are safely in God's hands.
