John 14:12 "Very truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these, because I am going to the Father." The one who believes (puts his active trust) in Jesus will do Jesus' works. Obedience means to do what we see Jesus doing. Believing, loving, and obeying are interwoven and virtually interchangeable. The works of a church that is truly Jesus Christ's Church will look very close to the works that Jesus did. The Church, the followers of Jesus, then, exist to do Jesus' works. by Carol J.
