Luke 1:26-28

"The Angel Gabriel was sent by God And he came to (Mary) saying, 'Greetings, favored one.  The Lord is with you.'"

At the heart of the pre-birth/Advent stories is this recurring message,

"The Lord is with you."

Clearly it sparked new hope in Mary's heart.  It is a timeless and timely message that we do well to hear again and again. 

May the Lord indeed be with you, and others through you, in these days.
