John’s visions included seven “beatitudes.” This one we especially treasure and often quote at the time of a Christian funeral. The seer hears an angelic proclamation that saints . . . who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to the faith of Jesus are redeemed by the Lamb of God and will spend eternity with the One who takes away the sin of the world!
