Psalm 2.1 (KVJ)

“Why do the nation’s so furiously rage together, and why do the people imagine a vain thing?” 

These words from the Psalmist have such a contemporary ring.  One can ask that question after reading any day’s newspaper.  The Biblical answer would seem to be, our insecure, sinful, self interested human nature.  And a faithful response concludes the Psalm: ‘Serve the Lord with fear and trembling...(for) Happy are all who take refuge in our God.’  The challenge of faith is to trust...and obey!
