Victoria Smit

 

Tori Smit is a Christian Educator and member of the Order of Diaconal Ministries of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. She studied at the University of Toronto and Ewart College and has served the church as an Area Education Consultant and with congregations both in Canada and in the United States as a Director of Christian Education. She has written small group leader materials for youth conferences for the Presbyterian Church in Canada as well as Montreat Conference Center.

 

 

Tori is also a gifted seamstress and the founder of Grains of Faith design, a company specializing in liturgical fabric arts. When she isn't sewing, she continues to write and do contract work for the Presbyterian Church. A great fan of Kerygma, she is always leading one course or another as well as being involved in The Logos Ministry in her home church.

 

Tori has two "almost grown" children, Jacob and Miriam, and is married to John-Peter, Tori at our APCE Bootha Congregational Development Consultant for the Presbyterian Church in Canada.  Together they live in Waterloo, Ontario.
