Kerygma Leaders
Since Kerygma groups are led rather than taught, the knowledge and skills required of the Kerygma leader are different from those of a traditional Bible study teacher. It is essential for a good Kerygma leader to have the ability to read and understand biblical material and biblical reference books, to facilitate group learning experiences, and to have a commitment to study and prepare. Kerygma groups can be led by clergy, Christian educators or lay people. Team leadership is common. In a comprehensive program, an additional element is the selection and training of leaders.
RESOURCE BOOK – The leader will start here, reading the same material as the participants, for guided reading along with the Bible.
LEADER'S MATERIAL: For older studies, the Leader's Guide is in printed form. Our newest studies now have all Leader Material on Disc or Flash Drive and include:
The Leader’s Guide document, in PDF format, written to be used along with the Resource Book. It offers clear guidelines for creative, participatory class discussion and activities. There are multiple engaging activities for each session to choose from, allowing leaders the opportunity to customize their own lesson plan. Copy & paste your choices into a blank document and tailor for your own class.
Slide Presentation for in-class use with visuals and activities to enhance the learning experience. Individual slides JPEGs are also included if you wish to create your own.
